I planned my first family trip at 13.

I was buried in travel blogs, airline sites, and hotel options, learning how to navigate the world before I was even allowed to drive in it. That same spark of genuine curiosity, creativity, and a deep desire to help people experience the world still fuels everything I do today.

But the full story begins long before that…

I was born with bilateral hip dysplasia, which meant I spent much of my childhood in and out of hospitals. Between the ages of 2 and 12, I underwent 11 surgeries. By the age of 22, I’d had two full hip replacements.

And yet, I never let that stop me. I never even considered it.

Movement has always been a part of me. Growing up in a Navy family meant I was constantly exploring new places. I lived in seven different states and spent six of my formative years on the beautiful island of O’ahu, Hawaii. I also had the chance to live abroad in Denmark, which only deepened my love for culture, language, and finding beauty in the unfamiliar.

While I could have let my physical challenges hold me back, I chose the opposite: I built a life that moves. That explores. That says yes to the world.

I’ve now traveled to over 30 countries, often with a limp, or a cane, but I still wouldn’t trade it for anything. Travel has healed me. Inspired me. Brought me back to life in seasons when I felt stuck or small.

And now? I help others find that same kind of freedom.

Because I know what it’s like to live with limitations, visible or not. I know how frustrating it can be to want to see the world, but feel unsure if it’s possible because of pain, food sensitivities, mobility concerns, anxiety, or overwhelm. And I know how life-giving it can be when someone finally says, “We can make this work. Let’s figure it out together.”

That’s what I’m here for.

Before launching Moments by Meagan, I spent two and a half years working behind the scenes in the travel world on the public relations team at the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA), the largest trade organization representing travel advisors nationwide. I helped tell the stories of travel professionals, spotlighted global destinations, and learned how powerful the advisor-client relationship can truly be.

Now, I bring that insider knowledge, industry network, and communications expertise directly to my clients, combining passion with professionalism and heartfelt care with seamless logistics.

At Moments by Meagan, I design custom travel experiences for people who want more than just a cookie-cutter itinerary.

Whether you're planning a luxury elopement or honeymoon, a family trip with dietary or accessibility needs, an adventure-driven escape with a soft place to land at the end of the day, or a once-in-a-lifetime bucket list experience...

Every journey I plan is grounded in empathy, elevated by experience, and centered around your unique needs, because travel should never feel out of reach.

This isn’t just my business. It’s my calling.

And if you’ve ever felt like travel wasn’t made for you, for your body, your needs, your story, I want you to know: it absolutely is.

I’d be honored to help you experience the world in a way that feels empowering and unforgettable.
